Uber of things: Trim Launches ‘Paint My Room’ App

Trim Agency launches version 1.0 for Paynt.com, a startup web app. In the world of ‘Uber of Everything” Paynt.com takes the pain out of finding, vetting, and hiring a painter to have your home or office painted. Trim developed a real-time estimate system that provides an instant quote for painting rooms and sending a painter to your doorstep in 48 hours.

By separating business logic and user experience, the startup is in a position to scale, as company founders are developing new features while launching the startup this September in New York City and South Florida.

Trim’s team built a custom API for speed and an interactive quoting system with Angular to keep the user engaged through the quoting process. Keep an eye on Paynt.com, as the project begins to take shape.

Trim Brands First Authentic Local Brewery

The cold carbonated substance that gives way to to a little insight and inspiration when in times of need: beer. It’s been on our mind (and in our bellies) since our initial workshop with featured client: Khoffner Brewery.

Rauf Khoffner’s passion for beer and sense of humor were present as he spoke of his history with beer, travels, and the folk lore of the countries he’s visited.  The client discussed the core concepts desired and then relinquished full control of the project to us. With his confidence in our craft, Trim set forth to execute the branding process.

Our design team started at the drafting table. Carefully tracing images of the brewmaster Khoffner’s face and turning them into digital vector drawings using a Wacom tablet. Further inspired by his stories, images of mythical creatures such as Aisha Kandisha were born. Pairing these images with diligently chosen sans serif and slab fonts of varying families gave the beer label the aesthetic our design team strives for.

As Khoffner’s beer list grows, Trim continues to design branding that portrays Khoffner’s authenticity as well as the whimsy of a person whose lifetime has lead to the mastery of brewing. State of the art equipment is being unpackaged, German Puritan standard brewing methods adhered to, and a whole lot of soul being poured (no pun intended) into the preparation for the Fall launch of Khoffner Brewery. When they say “Beer is in Our Blood”– they’re not kidding.

Golfito Marina Village Beta Goes Live

Golfito Marina Village will be the first Superyacht ready facility in the Southern Costa Rica region. The luxury resort and marina is currently under construction; it will be the only drop-off and pick-up zone for yacht transport ships on the West Coast of Central and South America. Golfito’s yachting, world-class sport-fishing, and ecotourism is the formula for a successful luxury travel destination.

Trim Agency released an interim look at renderings and plans for the destination’s website and marketing portal. Working closely with famed Architect and Developer, Noam Schwartz, Trim was able to bring to life a project in it’s physical infancy. Trim’s team of strategists is working to turn the beta release into an informational hub and sales tool as development on the Golfito Marina Village property continues.

No rest for the Product Team, as the full-version web experience begins in August. Scheduling creative, development, and production around the shifting needs of a luxury resort under construction is what makes working closely with our clients ever important.
